Earlier this year The Awe-Manac: A daily dose of wonder by Jill Badonsky arrived on my bookshelves. It must have been placed there by the book fairies who just seem to put gorgeous journaling related books on my shelves without my knowledge. It is a wonderful book whose aim is to be 'a playfully practical guide that's a refreshing twist on the revered Old Farmer's Almanac.' It takes you through 365 days of wonderfully creative prompts and ideas for writing- perfect for journaling! A message of the book is that creativity is not just for a talented few- we can all be creative and this book gives you Journal Juju, Daily Soul Vitamins, Aha-phrodisiacs and...well the list goes on!
I am going to make it a personal New Year Challenge to dip into the book every day, even if it is just one of the many daily prompts. Does anyone else have this book? Anyone want to join me in the challenge? Actually I don't like the word challenge so I am going to call it a project! Anyone want to join me in the Awe-Manac Project?
